What is your turning point of finding a sharehouse?
I came to Tokyo because of job. I wanted to rent a room with my friend so I tried to fine it. But it's difficult for the room size and condition are the same. How to distribute the rent? How to do if someone's workplace need be changed? How to resolve the problems occurred from the difference of life cycle? We considered a lot, finally we gave up to rent together. I started to consider that the sharehouse with a management company sounded good.
Why do you choose Ayase Laputa?
When I searched on the internet, I compared the commuting time, rent etc., then I chose the 3~4 houses which's conditions are suitable for me to view. The resaon is the cleaning! And the decorations in the house are so cute, too!!
No matter which photos on the website looked so beautiful, but after viewing it appeared some difference...
When the time I wanted to give up, I saw the Ayase Laputa, and it was just like the photos!! So I decided to move in on the day.
Do the members of Ayase Laputa enjoy the life of sharehouse?
Some people would plan events for others. I attended many activities when I moved in, and had a good time.
When the night I just moved in, I was invited to play Wii. I played the dance game with a roommate who I met in the first time.
We gather in the living room and watch the popular drama together everyweek, or someone rent movies or dramas amd we see them together on the holiday. It's our daily life. And we also borrow comicbooks with each other. When someone would move out, we also prepare food and hold a farewell party.
From few months ago, we started to have some activities in period. Like go out together on holidays, and we also climbed the Takao-san recently. Or have a small exploring trip near the Ayase and Kitasenju. There alwayas 5~6 people would gather together.
If the time is allowed, we also meet at outside to have a dinner and go home together, then to drink a beer on the roof. The roof is so wild that can see the skytree, so perfect! Also look forward to the firework event in the summer.
I also started a running club recently.
In my school life, I had the hobby to run on the running road near the beach, so I thought it's ok to run here! Using the whiteboard to collect members. Even if there are only two people now...But once a week, we are running around the house. We run and chat for about 40 minutes 5 km. Other residents who don't run know the time we run, they would ask us that don't you run today? Or just see us off.
The advantage and disadvantage of the sharehouse, and the point you recommend?
The good place is that I could talk to someone for what happened that day. When I go back home maybe somenone have came home already, no matter what happened I could tell it to someone, and that is best for me.
We could get along with someone who you maybe couldn't know in the usual life, and we also have fun for going out together. There are residents who are at the same age and older or younger than me. We still can go out together and chat a lot to have fun without the distance of ages. Of course there are people who are older than me in the company, but in the office they just my boss.
For the management of the sharehouse, the older members would explain the rules for the new members. We consider and think new thoughts, and support for each other. Taking turns with trash and cleaning the personal stuff in common areas are simple thing but important. Although there would be the change of the members, we still want to keep this sharehouse in a comfortable condition. I think everyone here has the same thinking.
One who is detemined for the dream, and one who goes to school everyday for searching a good job, I could get inspired by these members everyday. There are also residents who are forigners or have the experiences of oversea. We have different jobs and interests and gather at here, so it's really fun to hear many stories that I havn't experienced before.
To say the disadvantage...I don't think there is a disadvantage at all.
Maybe there is someone who is worried about the bathroom and washiing machine are always fulled. In the situation of the dormitory in school, it's possible for it because everyone have the same life time there. But here we don't have the same life time as others, so it's ok. And in each floor there are bathroom and restroom. I go to use it at the same time and almost can use it.
Becacuse the room is single, so if you want to have a personal time you just stay at the room.
I don't have any disagreeable thought so far, I really have a happy time here, so I really recommend it.
And I sometimes bring a box meal to go to work, the menu in it are always given by my roommates. In fact, it is a recommend point. Having the chance to share the meals with each other is only in sharehouse!
